Williams Tool Company History
The Williams Tool Company’s history dates back to 1955, when it was founded as a family-owned manufacturer of model work and building tools, gages, fixtures, jigs, and dies for a local clientele. Over the course of its first two decades, Williams Tool gradually shifted its focus from tooling and fixtures to contract manufacturing work.
The path that led us to become the company we are today has been marked by an ongoing commitment to improvement through continual reinvestment of revenues into expanded machining power and expertise and a true passion for delivering the highest quality, best-machined components available today, with a total commitment to attaining 100% Customer Satisfaction, every time.
Evolving with Technology for Ever-Greater Precision
Since 1985, Williams Tool has been a 100% computer numerically controlled (CNC) production shop known for high-precision, close-tolerance component parts, mainly for the valve, aerospace, and musical instrument markets.
Through the decades, we have kept our shop operating at the highest level by continually investing in advanced technologies and equipment upgrades. Today, Williams runs state-of-the-art multitasking CNC machines that deliver even greater precision and efficiency in less time than ever.
Other areas of operations contribute support with cutting-edge technologies such as robotic loading, ERP systems, in-process inspection, and visual inspection software.
All this constant evolution is undertaken with determination to provide our customers with products of the very highest quality.
The Evolution Continues
Today, a full seven decades after its founding, Williams Tool continues adapting breakthrough technologies into our production processes that help us optimize every aspect of our operations, from production to facility management, testing, inspection, quality assurance, and more.
Throughout our 17,000-square-foot facility in Chadwicks, New York, you can easily find evidence of our commitment to embracing advanced machining technology. Most recently, we expanded our shop capacity by adding our first three multi-tasking machines, each featuring two turrets and two spindles that can simultaneously machine on both the left and right turrets. We have also further developed our inspection and quality control capabilities by adding the Starret AVR-300 and Oasis visual inspection systems.
